I knew a kid that died in a drunk driving accident a few years ago. We were pretty close for a while but hadn't been in years. They were drunk joyriding, didn't even have a destination, in a parking lot. They hit a curb and Jimmy was thrown out of the car and his head impacted cement. Very sad. | |

He's been caught 5 times, so you know how many times he's actually done it (hint: he's probably got more experience behnd the wheel drunk than sober)
There was a time that I did it myself... I was always the DD and had at least enough sense to cut myself off at a certain point, start drinking water like a fish and dance to sweat it out... my friend and I often wonder why we are both still alive. I can only guess that our mission had not yet been fulfilled.

Now she has a life where mom and dad change the catheters, wasting away to a little shell of a girl at 85 pounds. She can't move and gets the pleasure of watching her younger sister get married, have children and do all the things she'd love love to but never will. She's bitter, mean and sad.
Yah drunk driving so stupid! Makes me so fukking angry!

I saw my father get into too many accidents while driving drunk, and how he survived some of them or got by all his years without killing someone, I do not know. As a matter of fact, I don't talk on the cell phone, play with the radio, or do anything that is going to distract me while driving. When I am driving, I am driving.
I have a great fear of pain, and car repairs are just too freaken expensive, if you survive that is. |  |

Hell, in terms of what causes more damage and is more harmful, I'd say alcohol is far worse and devastating then marijuana ever could be. Stoners just stay home and get baked on the couch. When your stoned you don't want to do anything other then eat munchies lol. Drinking is different. People drink at bars and clubs and in public at times, and it turns even the most respectable people into idiot assholes. | |
