Daniel asked me if we could go to Walmart today (He didn't like Target's shoe selection). I told him no.... which of course opened up the question of Why not??? So he got an earful. I don't have the strength to go through it all again, so you're getting off easy
I hate to admit it, but Ive been to Walmart more since we arrived in Florida than in all my 43 years combined. I did buy a couple clothing items, too... but it was just some tank tops. Danskin. (that's not too bad, is it??)

| 6/14/2009 6:42:54 AM From: PapaBryant I shot at the Dollar Palace because it is convienient and casual. I don't have to get all dressed up like I'm going to Wal-mart or something. | |

6/14/2009 10:29:49 AM From: ImWithStupid I know. Growing up, all I heard about were the poor starving Chinese kids.
Just trying to help out the starving kids in China.
Why do you anti-Wal-Mart people hate the starving kids in China?

| 6/14/2009 11:38:22 AM From: emkay64 I often buy shorts and tanks and cheap shoes at wal mart. It may not be my preference, but the price is right. I also love Old Navy, and American Eagle...I've never been much for upscale boutique clothing...just can't justify the price. | |

| 6/15/2009 10:54:50 AM From: Rani Yeah MK, it is the George label. Yeah that is as dressy as it gets at WalMart. I have been to WalMart and I have been to fancy stores, and many times the only difference I see, is the price. And I know for a fact, the perfume and cosmetics at WalMart are the exact same perfumes and cosmetics you can get at the high dollar stores. I used to work at Elizabet Arden's factory..and we were working on a line where everything had to be perfect, the labels had to be just so, the packaging had to be just so, because it was going to a high dollar store. When that order finish, the line stopped, labels was changed out, bottles of perfume was brought back that was previously rejected because the label was not perfect, but otherwise fine. Then the line started up again, we didn't have to be so picky about a bubble in the packaging...the perfume was going to WalMart. Same exact stuff. Since I could care less about the packaging, OOOOOH what a pretty box...I never buy my cosmetics or perfume at a high dollar store. | |

6/15/2009 1:24:27 PM From: Chi If I found something cute of decent quality, I wouldn't be opposed to buying clothes from there, but can't say that I see much of that for myself. We mostly buy cleaning supplies, bathroom stuff and some foods from there. But I have bought some clothing things from there before (mainly not for me-lol.)

As for perfumes, I buy my perfumes at the outlet mall, and in tester boxes. I haven't bought perfume in ages though...
