10/5/2008 6:48:24 AM   From:  beags   I had a g-grandpa named Warner, and a g-grandmother named Potencia (Tency for short)...
10/5/2008 6:53:11 AM   From:  mercury   clyde. (there's probably 1/2 a dozen of them in chris' family.)
10/5/2008 8:27:37 AM   From:  Ali   My mom's maternal side had some winners: Woods, Merle, Clarabelle, Odie (my grandma), and Betty - who they nicknamed "Tootie".
10/5/2008 8:30:56 AM   From:  Feckless Wench   My Mom's parents were: Reginald George and Hilda Muriel, Dad's were William George and Adelaide Elizabeth...thank gawd they didn't go in for naming their own kids after any family tradition!
10/5/2008 8:36:49 AM   From:  emkay64   Mine--Isayew....not a word or I'll cut you!
10/5/2008 11:33:27 AM   From:  Rani   I don't have anyone I know of in my family by this name, but Ima. (The Japanese name Ima means - "now." It has provided many a good humored silly laughter from me and my mother. My maternal grandfather, changed his last name before my mother was born to Powers, from Poor. I couldn't help myself when momma came out with she was glad he did and that she wasn't named Ima...she could just imagine herself answering the telephone, Ima Poor here.
10/5/2008 11:40:18 AM   From:  Rani   Pronoucned with the I (as I am) instead of the Em.
10/5/2008 11:45:15 AM   From:  mercury   I know someone named Denise Kelly, which makes her initials DK (decay; as in rot). She goes by Dee and her married last name is Weir. When written on forms, she becomes Weir, D. I always said she completed the family leagacy, because the Weirs are some really strange people.
