Where To Go, What To Do?
I think I posted this before, but due to circumstances beyond my control, I wasn't able to take my trip when intended.

I have this free airline ticket. I can go to NY,NY. Orlando (No), Boston Ma., Atlanta Ga., Chicago Il., Miami (No), Las Vegas NV., Washington DC, LA Cal, or Dallas Tx.

I am still leaning towards DC. I have to book the flight soon, because the latest I can take it is in March or it will expire. And I have to give 30 days notice before I use it.

Where would you go, what would you do? Anywhere in Florida is out. I am already here.

10/1/2008 8:41:08 AM   From:  MrsK   I think I am going alone, but not sure yet. I may take my mom and spring for her ticket if I can. She needs a vaca from her vaca.
10/1/2008 8:54:01 AM   From:  mercury   Chi's in Chicago.
10/1/2008 8:55:08 AM   From:  mercury   If you have lots of spending money, I'd go to NY. Boston would be cool for all the history. I wouldn't bother with Vegas or LA, but that's just me ;o)
10/1/2008 8:57:58 AM   From:  Ali   Oops, I missed Chicago in the list. Sorry, Chi.
10/1/2008 9:01:33 AM   From:  mercury   also, I'd nix any of those northern locations if you're going later than mid November. I know you like snow and all, but you'll just have cold and ugly if you go later than that, but before the later part of December. February and March are often brutal.
10/1/2008 9:07:40 AM   From:  Ali   It's funny how ND is never on anyone's travel agenda. Gee, I can't imagine why.
10/1/2008 9:11:26 AM   From:  mercury   and don't go to any of them in January, unless you plan on spending your time in the hotel spa ;o)
10/1/2008 9:27:44 AM   From:  hugo   Definitely do not want to go to Chicago.Unles, you want to watch the Cubs and White Sox lose.
10/1/2008 9:45:19 AM   From:  MrsK   The only time I could go durin the winter is XMas break. I am in classes until then.
10/1/2008 9:46:31 AM   From:  MrsK   I could put it off until March, and just make my reservations now. I am pretty sure I am leaning towards a Northern Trip. I am just worried I will prcrastinate to the point the tix expire.
10/1/2008 9:53:32 AM   From:  eddo   Go to Chicago. You and Chi can get your democrat groove thang on together.
10/1/2008 9:55:11 AM   From:  mercury   that might work... it's not usually too cold just yet, and there's a very good chance you'd see snow.
10/1/2008 10:38:20 AM   From:  BCAR   You know Dallas is only 5 hours or so from Houston.
10/1/2008 10:46:48 AM   From:  mercury   you and walter would probably get along great... you could share stories of what a bastid hugo is ;o)
10/1/2008 10:50:45 AM   From:  MrsK   LMAO! Yeah, but I just had a GREAT idea! Not to be specualtive, but - Obama may be getting sworn in, in January!
10/1/2008 12:36:31 PM   From:  Ali   hugo would probably invite you to stay in the guest room. I'm sure that with all the wolf pelt sheets and the baby polar bear fur comforter the accomodations are really quite comfortable.
10/1/2008 12:38:00 PM   From:  Ali   At Kethria's, you'd be eating a lot of turkey and belly dancing afterwards. Then you could help her plan her wedding while you're there.
10/1/2008 12:39:56 PM   From:  Ali   At BCAR's, he would cook you venison stew and show you his gun collection. Then he'd take you out for a ride on his Harley and you could pick up skanky chicks together.
10/1/2008 12:40:39 PM   From:  Ali   And eddo already covered what you'd do in Chicago.
10/1/2008 12:57:14 PM   From:  eddo   Go to North Dakota. You can have fun watching the guy change the State Population sign from 50 to 51...
10/1/2008 12:57:40 PM   From:  eddo   You could go to Alaska and go hunting.
10/1/2008 1:00:19 PM   From:  Ali   Head out to AZ and stay with eddo. You could watch him fall asleep with his arm sticking straight up in the air and doze off while listening to the sweet sound of his baritone burrito farts.
10/1/2008 1:40:27 PM   From:  Ali   Go hang out with TJ when you need a break. You can talk about how hot Sarah Palin is and you might even get some good ideas for a new book - "TJ and Me: My weekend with a misogynist".
10/1/2008 2:28:23 PM   From:  MrsK   LMAO! Actually, if I went to North Dakota I would spy on the spy outside of your bedroom window.
10/1/2008 6:33:09 PM   From:  Rani   OH go to DC and I can meet you there and we can have a blast!
10/1/2008 8:04:47 PM   From:  DarkCrow   Washington DC as in ME? Or as in the "other" one?
10/1/2008 8:11:56 PM   From:  eddo   Spying on the spy seems boring, MrsK. we can trade off being benches for each other. bring a jacket.
10/1/2008 9:24:19 PM   From:  MrsK   Oh I don't think so Burrito Boy! I know what noxious fumes killed all the plants nder her window!
10/2/2008 6:48:29 AM   From:  Kethria   march! then come to my wedding... :P
