The Five Love Languages By: Gary Chapman
I just wanted to share with everyone what a

great book I thought this was. I feel like it is

for more then just those of us that is married.

It felt good reading this book and finding out

how other people think, and why they tend to do

what they do. I feel like I can be a better

friend, mother, and wife just by reading it.

There's a quiz in the back of the book that

tells you what love languages you speak. I will

put it up if anyone wants me too.

Just needed to share this with the world, well

you guys anyways.

9/29/2008 11:08:18 PM   From:  Rani   What did we decide I was, the touchy feely type person.
9/30/2008 3:26:18 AM   From:  mercury   read it years ago, and it really is very good ;o)

9/30/2008 4:30:28 AM   From:  MrsK   And yes you should put up the languages, I am curious. I haven't read this book.
9/30/2008 4:34:00 AM   From:  mercury   the five love languages are: Words of Affirmation, Quality Time, Receiving Gifts, Acts of Service and Physical Touch ;o)
9/30/2008 4:35:21 AM   From:  MrsK   Ooooohh. This sounds interesting, I want to read it.
9/30/2008 4:37:17 AM   From:  mercury   It's very Christian centered from what I remember (if that kind of thing turns you off)
9/30/2008 4:38:32 AM   From:  MrsK   I can get past all that if it gets to be too much. I'll just check it out of the library before I buy. Although I was just looking on Amazon lol
9/30/2008 4:39:47 AM   From:  mercury   I could have loaned it to you, if I hadn't already loaned it to someone else that never returned it :P
9/30/2008 4:40:20 AM   From:  mercury   I don't think the christian slant got to be too heavy... it didn't prompt me to stop reading it :P
9/30/2008 4:41:20 AM   From:  MrsK   Awww, Thanks. I just checked out the first season of Oz from the library last week, and I will be moving on to season two this morning. I am actually using it as a tool for a paper in my sociollogy class, for a paper that I have to write later.
9/30/2008 4:42:21 AM   From:  MrsK   Oh and the point of that was because I am in love with my library. Duh... It isn't the BIGGEST, but it sure has a nice selection.
9/30/2008 4:50:47 AM   From:  mercury   I haven't even found the library here yet... I loved our old library; for a small town it had a great selection, along with a lot of services and special interest programs. They had just put a massive addition on right before we moved. Some old resident left a huge endowment that allows for all kinds of extras.
9/30/2008 4:54:33 AM   From:  MrsK   Awww that is sweet. If ever I have enough money to do so I would do something like that in my will. The libraries out here are touch and go. I would suggest going to whatever the main branch os forst for the county. They are usually the nicest and most active. I think the Tampa main is downtown. If memory serves it is also multiple floors. But I never went there, I always went to the one in my own neighborhood.
9/30/2008 4:55:55 AM   From:  mercury   You prompted me to look for one :P There's one in Zypherhills... it probably smells like mold in there. What's with the stench in every building in that city? (all of them I've been in, anyway)
9/30/2008 5:01:15 AM   From:  MrsK   I don't know, I've driven through there. It is probably another old people town.
9/30/2008 5:11:42 AM   From:  mercury   found another one in New Tampa... it probably smells better than the one in Zypherhills :P
