A post for the bottom of humanity. Anal retentives need not enter.

The new season of Family Guy is starting this Sunday.

I'm so excited I may need to change my underpants!

Yeah, I know most of you won't care about this news but I bet eddo will. :)

9/24/2008 8:05:31 AM   From:  Jez   i'm pretty geeked about it. i'm totally caught up in madmen and the office, too.
9/24/2008 8:06:42 AM   From:  Jez   and i wouldn't say we're the bottom rung of humanity. there's a show on CMT called "trailer park disaster" for crying out loud.
9/24/2008 8:12:25 AM   From:  Ali   I've been watching my Season 4 dvd pack and listening to the commentary on all the episodes. OMG, I would totally do Mr. MacFarlane any way he wanted it. He's so fukking funny.
9/24/2008 8:19:13 AM   From:  mercury   he looks like Peter Brady
9/24/2008 8:22:19 AM   From:  mercury   My kids are always trying to sneak a chance to watch Family Guy, but I FORBID it! LOL The first/last time I allowed it there was some "extra marital" activity going on that I didn't think was quite appropriate for their age level. Personally, I just don't enjoy cartoons much. I'll watch South Park once in a great while, but that's about it.
9/24/2008 8:31:17 AM   From:  Ali   I wouldn't let my kids watch it either, Merc. Besides, they wouldn't even get the majority of the cultural references that make it so damn funny. It's definitely a show for the over 30 crowd, IMO.
9/24/2008 8:39:39 AM   From:  timesjoke   Well 'gutter humor' is still humor, I never said the stuff was not funny, I even mentioned shows like jack ass and others. They are very funny, think about it, most humor is making fun of someone else or others being hurt. Some of the most popular videos on America's funniest videos was guys getting wacked in the nards, the suffering of other people is funny as hell. Family guy is damn funny, stewie just cracks me up, I remember him beating the crap out of Bryan for owing him money, is was just redicliously funny, and was about as violent of a scenario as anyone could invent. I do watch these shows, not very often, but every now and then I need to just turn vegtable and watch some stuff like this.
9/24/2008 8:43:04 AM   From:  emkay64   I'm anal retentive...but I'm coming in anyways! I don't watch the cartoons, but that new show Wipeout gives me the belly laughs and rude guffaws. I love seeing cocky, arrogant losers fall....hard!
9/24/2008 8:57:02 AM   From:  Feckless Wench   I love it!
9/24/2008 8:58:31 AM   From:  eddo   lmao, he does look like Peter Brady!
9/24/2008 9:13:20 AM   From:  Ali   Oh, so now "gutter humor" is suddenly funny and NOT destined to be the fall of mankind? WTF?
9/24/2008 9:14:40 AM   From:  Ali   No, Seth is much cuter and a hell of a lot funnier than Peter Brady.
9/24/2008 9:18:04 AM   From:  eddo   "Porkchops and applesauce" was pretty damn funny...
9/24/2008 9:19:38 AM   From:  mercury   I can't think about pork chops without thinking about applesauce ;o)
9/24/2008 9:21:30 AM   From:  MrsK   I like Lois, and I adore Stewy, but I'm just a good old fashioned South Park kinda girl.
9/24/2008 9:27:20 AM   From:  timesjoke   I never said anything was not funny, I have no idea where you getting that from.........I mentiond things like showing animated male 'parts' can be a baby step tword worse things but I never said it was not funny.........I do believe that a society that is immersing itself in 'too much' mindless entertainment is going down the wrong path but I have no real problem with this kind of entertainment on it's own.
9/24/2008 9:28:16 AM   From:  Kethria   Woo-hoo! Whatever happened to the rumored Cleveland show?
9/24/2008 10:12:23 AM   From:  Ali   I have a Family Guy trivia game that's collecting dust because no one is brave (geeky) enough to challenge me.
9/24/2008 10:14:29 AM   From:  Ash Of Pompeii   I'm not even near 30 and I still appreciate pretty much ALL the references
9/24/2008 10:39:34 AM   From:  BCAR   My son watches it, I watch it, I think it's funny. I don't confuse it with real life nor does my son. It's not hard to make and understand the distinction.
9/24/2008 4:23:50 PM   From:  beags   I'm very excited about this...
9/24/2008 4:25:30 PM   From:  beags   And my husband maintains that he will get a shirt with Cleveland Brown on it and wear it to a Cleveland Browns game to see who catches the reference...
9/25/2008 8:08:33 AM   From:  PapaBryant   To Hell with Family Guy; I've just gotten into Lost and its 5th season premere AND the last 10 episodes of Battlestar Galactica are both scheduled to start in January. I'm going through withdrawls and you guys (sniff) don't care bbbbbbbbbwwwwwaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhh!! (runs out of room to go detox)
9/25/2008 9:55:08 AM   From:  eddo   Family Guy blows the ever lovin crap outta Lost and Battlestar Galactica. fo shizzle.
